Serial issues, broadsides, handbills, and pamphlets, mainly issued by resistance groups in Belgium, Czechoslovakia, Denmark, France, Italy, Poland, Yugoslavia, and other German-occupied countries during World War II. Includes some issuances of anti-German groups in exile, some issuances of American occupation forces in Germany at the end of World War II, and a few World War I items. Some items are photographic reproductions. Collected by the War Library of the Cleveland Public Library.

The Art and Architecture Vertical File has been maintained throughout the 20th century by the librarians of the Fine Arts Department of the Cleveland Public Library.
